Commitment to Improving Work Safety, Brantas Abipraya Wins Four Awards at ICSA 2023
Jakarta, 9 November 2023 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) succeeded in bagging four awards in the fields of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) at the 2023 Indonesia Construction Safety Award (ICSA). The award consists of four categories, including CEO Safety Leadership, Director Safety Leadership, Safety Performance and Emergency Response. The award was immediately received by Muhammad Toha Fauzi, Director of Operations I Brantas Abipraya at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta.
"This achievement is proof of Brantas Abipraya's commitment to implementing K3 culture. "Not only that, this achievement shows that we not only focus on superior construction work, quality, but also prioritize safety and health in the work environment," said Toha.
For your information, ICSA is an award organized by the Indonesian Construction Safety Experts Association (PAKKI). Followed by contractors (BUMN and private), precast factories and property, as well as projects both BUMN and private projects. Toha added, ICSA is very beneficial for the Company, because through this event it can motivate Brantas Abipraya to increase the effectiveness of implementing construction safety.
In the CEO Safety Leadership Award category, this is an award that assesses the vision and mission and construction safety policies, the CEO's involvement in safety aspects, being able to be a role model for all workers and involving stakeholders in implementing construction safety. Meanwhile, for the Director Safety Leadership Award, this award is obtained based on an assessment of safety-related competencies, active involvement in various safety programs.
For the Safety Performance Award category, this is an award to Business Entities that have made preventative efforts and demonstrated zero accidents and work-related illnesses, as well as success in reducing the rate of work-related accidents and illnesses in the safety sector. Meanwhile, the Emergency Response Award is a new category in this award which assesses the Company's reliability in dealing with emergencies or emergencies.
