Jakarta, March 1 2024 — PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) continues to accelerate the construction of the Bayunglencir - Tempino Toll Road, Section 3 Jambi Province. Starting work in May 2023, toll road section 3 is targeted for completion in June 2024. This 15.40 kilometer long toll road is one of the sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, an important access connecting Sumatra Island. This toll road construction initiative is one of the main components of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road Section which was built to reduce travel time between Jambi and Lampung, so efforts must be made to accelerate development as quickly as possible.

"Through this project, Brantas Abipraya seeks to make a full contribution to improving toll road infrastructure in Indonesia, especially in Sumatra. "We are optimistic that this toll road work can be completed on time, of course by implementing K3 in the project environment," said Sugeng Rochadi, Main Director of Brantas Abipraya.

Sugeng Rochadi also expressed his hope that the existence of the Bayunglencir - Tempino Section 3 toll road in Jambi Province could facilitate connectivity between South Sumatra - Jambi, cut logistics costs, save travel time by up to 50%, and increase economic growth between regions.

When met in a different place, Muhammad Toha Fauzi, Director of Operations I, Brantas Abipraya, explained that for information, in the construction of the Betung-Tempino-Jambi Section 3 toll road, Brantas Abipraya was synergizing with two other state-owned construction companies. The scope of work in Section 3 is construction of 14,693 kilometers of main road, construction of 1,800 kilometers of toll road access, construction of 3.2 kilometers of piles, construction of 1 interchange, 2 locations of overpass and 2 locations of underpass construction.

Also encouraging the implementation of accelerated domestic product improvement (P3DN), in the construction of this toll road, Brantas Abipraya continues to strive to advance Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and boost the optimization of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).

"Brantas Abipraya will continue to fully support and contribute to accelerating the increase in PDN, proven consistently by increasing the utilization of domestic projects, in this case by optimizing TKDN in the Betung-Tempino
