Jakarta, 9 September 2020 - In improving the country's economy, of course it cannot be separated from the need for infrastructure. Toll road construction is key, this is because the existence of toll roads can make it easier for four-wheeled riders on their way. PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) which is a red plate construction company has also strengthened its role as a development agent through one of its business units, Abipraya Toll. Also building the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan or Cisumdawu Toll Road, Abipraya is optimistic that the toll road construction built under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme will be completed by the end of next year.

"Even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, we still need to do it. Of course, by prioritizing quality, quality and K3 (Occupational Health and Safety). We strictly enforce health protocols so that the progress of work is not hampered by this outbreak. We continue to guard it so that it will be completed by the end of 2021 "said Herman Dwi Haryanto as General Manager of Abipraya Toll.

Herman added, the 61.72 kilometer (KM) Cisumdawu toll road is divided into 6 sections, namely Section 1, namely Cileunyi-Rancakalong (11.45 KM), Section 2 of Rancakalong-Sumedang (17.05 KM). These two Sections are undertaken by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) as part of the Viability Gap Fund. This is done to increase the feasibility of investing in the toll road. Meanwhile for Section 3 Sumedang-Cimalaka (4.05 KM), Section 4 Cimalaka-Legok (8.20 KM), Section 5 Legok-Ujungjaya (14.90 KM) and Section 6 Ujungjaya-Dawuan (6.07 KM) are being worked on by the Toll Road Business Entity (BPJU) and PT Citra Karya Jabat Tol (PT CKJT).
