Jakarta, August 13, 2021 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) which is one of the state-owned construction companies (BUMN) officially launched its ambulance. The launch of the ambulance was inaugurated directly by the Managing Director (Director) of Brantas Abipraya, Sugeng Rochadi, located at the Brantas Abipraya Head Office, Jakarta. Marked by the handover of keys from the President Director to the company's doctor, Doctor Fitria Rimadhanty, the event which was also witnessed by the Board of Directors and other Abipraya personnel was also held with very strict health protocols.
"This social action is also one of the implementations of SOE moral values, hopefully with the launch of this ambulance Abipraya can improve health services to Abipraya personnel and the community around Abipraya's environment in need," said Sugeng Rochadi, President Director of Brantas Abipraya in his speech.
Sugeng also emphasized, apart from being designated as a health facility for Abipraya personnel, this ambulance was also born from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) BUMN which is known as a specialist and expert in dam construction in Indonesia, so that it can be used for free for the community around the Brantas office environment. Abipraya is in need. Good for helping sick people, accidents, or other humanitarian social activities.
He added that the ambulance unit is equipped with stretchers or assistive devices to move patients from and out of the ambulance, oxygen cylinders, wheelchairs, patient blankets, masks to personal protective equipment (PPE) for drivers and accompanying medical personnel. It is also hoped that this ambulance can relieve and help the community meet the needs of this fleet. As is well known, the positive number of COVID-19 in Jakarta is still very high, so the need for ambulances has also increased dramatically, the team was overwhelmed. So, it is hoped that the Abipraya ambulance can speed up service.
