"This year we are in a hurry to complete eight dams targeted for completion by the end of 2021. In Sumatra we are working on the Keureuto Dam which is located in D.I Aceh, then there is the Ciawi Dam, known as the dry dam, in West Java. Besides Ciawi, in West Java there is also the Cipanas Package 2 Dam, which we completed this year and the Bintang Bano Dam in West Nusa Tenggara,” said Miftakhul Anas, Corporate Secretary of Brantas Abipraya.

He added, in addition to the four dams above, in 2021 it is also planned to complete the work for the Advanced Tukul Dam in Pacitan-East Java, the Semantok Package 1 Dam and the Sidan Dam in Bali. Increasingly solidifying its position as a state-owned construction company specializing in dams, in supporting food security for Indonesia, Brantas Abipraya is also currently working on Package 1 and Package 4 Bener Dams. The dam, which will become the tallest dam in Indonesia, is also located in Purworejo, Central Java. In East Kalimantan, the 40-year-old BUMN is also completing the Sepaku Semoi Dam. In East Java, Brantas Abipraya built the Jragung Package III Dam.

Apart from completing the tallest dam, currently Brantas Abipraya is also completing the Semantok Package 1 dam, which will later become the longest dam in ASEAN. Then, in Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, Brantas Abipraya built the Bulango Ulu Dam, and in Sumbawa, NTB, this state-owned construction company headquartered in Jakarta is also developing Beringin Sila dam Package 1. In the West Sulawesi area, Brantas Abipraya is completing the Budong Dam- stupid.

Anas said that the series of dams built by Abipraya are expected to provide support for meeting the needs of national water and food security targets, especially the provision of raw water of 54.81 m3/second in 2024 according to the target of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).
