Sharing Happiness, Brantas Abipraya Gelar Iftar and 600 Orphans and Duafa Children

Sharing happiness in Ramadan, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) held a joint iftar on Friday (24/5). A total of 140 orphans and 60 poor people were invited to the Abipraya Brantas Headquarters located on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Cawang, East Jakarta.
In addition to breaking the fast together, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) also provides compensation for orphans. The ceremony that took place at the Baitul Muhajirin Mosque was also filled with basic food distribution for the duafa.
Public Relations Manager and Secretariat of PT Brantas Abipraya (Pesero) Rudi Pudianto said compensation for orphans provided consisted of pocket money and school equipment in the form of bags, stationery and books.
He said, that similar activities carried out every Ramadan were not only carried out in Jakarta. "Including in this head office, there are a total of 600 people who are supported in our 5 other branch offices," he explained.
According to Rudi, compensation for the other 400 people was also carried out simultaneously at the Medan Regional Division branch office, the Jakarta Regional Division located in Palembang, Regional Division III in Surabaya, and Regional Division IV in Makassar.
Khoiriyah, one of the residents of Cipinang Cempedak Village expressed his gratitude to Brantas Abipraya who always cared for the orphans in the neighborhood around the office of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) engaged in the construction sector.
"We give thanks to Allah SWT, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), which every year always gives goodness, especially in the holy month of Ramadan for orphans and widows of the poor," he said.
Met after breaking the fast, Corporate Secretary of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) Miftakhul Anas said that this joint activity is part of the BUMN program concerned with the environment. "One form of BUMN Present for the Country is carrying out social activities. Breaking fast with orphans is one form, "said Anas.
He continued, recently Brantas Abipraya (Persero) also synergized with other BUMNs namely Bukit Asam and Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN). "Last week, we held a joint opening and compensation for orphans in Lampung. "The activity was attended by 1,000 orphans," concluded Anas.
