Phase II of PLBN Badau Construction Starts on May

Putussibau (Antara Kalbar) JAKARTA - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) is currently preparing for the construction of Phase II Complex of Post Border Country of Indonesia - Malaysia in Badau Subdistrict, Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan.

"Currently we are preparing a cleanup and leveling the location for the construction of housing complex PLBN Badau," said Ugahari, Supervisor of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), when met at the location of work project in the complex PLBN Badau, Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan on Sunday.

It is said that in the second phase of development of Ugahari, housing, church, wisma Indonesa and the market with a budget sourced from the state budget of approximately Rp160 billion.

"It is estimated that the month of May is the implementation of the construction," said Ugahari.

According to Ugahari in a two-year work plan, it is targeted for over a year.

In addition, currently the PT Brantas Abipraya is doing hardening rigit in complex shed PLB white status.

Meanwhile, Minister of Public Works Basuki Hadimuljono said that the construction of Phase II of PLB Badau is carried out this year namely the construction of sub-core and supporting zones, with multiyear contracts 2017 - 2018 budget of Rp167 billion.

According to Basuki, the development is in the form of housing for customs, immigration, quarantine, and security officers, houses of worship, eating places, Wisma Indonesia, multipurpose building, management office, and other supporting work.

In addition PUPR minister also said in addition to PLBN development will also be built a modern market with the aim to foster economic activities on the border so that neighboring country residents can also buy goods from Indonesia.
