Inaugurating the Archives Building, Brantas Abipraya Improves IT-Based Archive Management04 January 2022
Jakarta, January 6, 2022 - Starting 2022, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) which is a state-owned construction company is improving its archive management by inaugurating the Archives Building located in the Abipraya Concrete Factory, Subang, West Java. With the signing of the inscription by Sugeng Rochadi as President Director of Brantas Abipraya and the cutting of the ribbon by Suradi, Director of Finance, HR & Risk Management of Brantas Abipraya and Sudirman, Commissioner of Brantas Abipraya, the IT-based Abipraya Archives Building is now officially operational.
“Through this archive building, we want to optimize the management of the Company's archives and documentation effectively in accordance with applicable regulations. With IT-based, all documents and archives will be more centralized and more effective. This is also an effort by Brantas Abipraya to always complete archival facilities and infrastructure in order to achieve superior governance," said Sugeng.
The Abipraya Archives Building, which was built with a total investment of approximately IDR 3.1 billion, was constructed in two stages. In the first stage, a 375 square meter building has been firmly established, consisting of 2 floors with a storage capacity of 4,000 boxes. The archive building at this stage has also been equipped with CCTV cameras, air conditioning, internet network, meeting rooms and offices, land for vehicle parking, and landscape (garden).
As for the next stage, the building area will be expanded by 497 square meters, the total being 872 square meters. The storage space capacity was increased by 3,000 boxes with a total capacity of 7,000 boxes. Not only that, in the second phase of the Archives building construction, it is also equipped with a plaza or lobby, waiting room, library room, pavilion room and prayer room.
On the same occasion and location, after inaugurating the archive building, Brantas Abipraya also inaugurated the prayer room which is approximately 200 meters from the archive building. Named the Baitul Muhajirin Mosque, it is hoped that in addition to being a place of worship, a place of prayer for Abipraya people who are active here to get safety, it is a comfortable place to increase faith and sincerity in serving Allah.
After inaugurating the Mushola, the Directors and Commissioners along with the management of Brantas Abipraya visited the Brantas Abipraya Precast Concrete Factory which is not far from the location of the prayer room. Here, Sugeng held the first precast concrete casting ceremony, and together with the Brantas Abipraya staff watched, observed how the precast was made, by following the stages of manufacture.

Opening the page of 2022, Brantas Abipraya will work harder and better, develop competencies to increase competitiveness in order to present the best construction works for Indonesia," concluded Sugeng.
