Improve Corporate Performance, Abipraya Holds Two Days FGD

Jakarta, August 3, 2017 - PT Brantas Abirpaya, a 36-year-old state-owned construction company, has held the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the Internal Control System on the 6th floor, Abipraya's office hall space in Cawang - Jakarta from August 2 to today (3/8). Attended by the Top Management and Manager of the Work Unit, Business Unit and Subsidiaries as participants, this FGD is a testament to Abipraya's commitment in implementing the Company's Internal Control System in order to provide adequate assurance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's operations.

"A reliable and effective internal control system is the responsibility of the management of each level of Company Management. This is an important element in the management of the company and becomes the basis for the Company's healthy and safe operational activities, "said Widyo Praseno - Director of Operations II, Brantas Abipraya, in his speech.

Shown by sharing understanding, Riska Diah Purwanti, Planning and Control Manager of PT Industrial Project Plant of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk., Comes with the Knowledge Sharing of Operational Control. Also appear Mujono, Sub-Head of Construction and Trade Service Business Agency of the Financial and Development Supervisory Board which provides how important the application of internal control system.

Not only FGD by presenting two speakers, in this series of activities also held the agenda of socialization of Law no. 2 Year 2017 on Construction Services with speakers Sutjipto, Head of Sub-Directorate Cooperation, Directorate of Cooperation and Empowerment Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.

Seno added that after the enactment of regulation no. 2 year 2017 on Construction Services on January 12, 2017 then, Abipraya need to understand more in the rules of Construction Services. Some important articles in it related to the construction industry such as the requirements of the construction business, the selection of service providers, construction work contracts, building failures, public participation, dispute resolution and administrative sanctions are very necessary to be observed.

"Hopefully this FGD can provide understanding and can apply it to all business processes, and can mapping the infrastructure of the Company that is or still needs to be repaired or still to be built," concluded Seno.
