Enliven 1 Year of AKHLAK, Brantas Abipraya Holds Webinar

Jakarta, August 6, 2021 - It's even one year since PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) has implemented the core value of BUMN, AKHLAK. The implementation of AKHLAK, which was initiated by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, was commemorated by Brantas Abipraya by holding a webinar, attended by the entire Board of Commissioners, Directors and Abipraya personnel who are at the Head Office and in Abipraya's projects throughout Indonesia. With the theme Empowering AKHLAK to Realize the Living Company, this event was held virtually through the zoom application (5/8).

“In the last twelve months, Mr. Erick Thohir, the Minister of SOEs, launched the core values ​​of AKHLAK and internalized them to each SOE. For 1 year, the main values ​​of AKHLAK have also been implemented into the culture of the Abipraya People," said Sugeng Rochadi as the President Director of Brantas Abipraya.

Sugeng, who was one of the speakers in this event, added that AKHLAK as a core value is a foothold for advancing to class, because Abipraya Personnel with AKHLAK are the key to the Company's success. The Directors, Unit Leaders, and all Abipraya Personnel are required to practice AKHLAK. According to Brantas Abipraya's vision, if implemented seriously, this construction SOE can become the TOP 5 construction SOEs, or even worldwide, as the Living Company.

AKHLAK is the most important foundation for work, consisting of affirmative words, namely AMANAH is holding fast to the trust given, then COMPETENT is to continue to learn and develop capabilities, HARMONY means behavior that cares for each other and respects differences. LOYAL which is dedicated and prioritizing the interests of the nation and state, ADAPTIVE which means continuing to innovate and enthusiastic in moving or facing change, and finally COLLABORATIVE which is the spirit of building synergistic cooperation.

He added, KOMPETEN for example, this value must be owned by Abipraya Personnel, especially for those who are in the project. By continuing to learn and focus on what is being done, you can improve your abilities so that you can make a positive contribution to the Company and the country through superior infrastructure works, according to the targets that have been set.
In addition to Sugeng Rochadi, Haryadi who is the President Commissioner of Brantas Abipraya also conveyed his direction regarding AKHLAK to Abipraya people. In the talk, he hoped that with this event, Abipraya people could better understand the meaning of moral values. He also said that the AKHLAK culture applies to the Ministry of SOEs and all corporations under the Ministry of SOEs.

“The culture of morality is applied in all state-owned companies, as a priority basis for us to take part now and for the times to come. Not only to realize the Living Company, strengthening AKHLAK is also a form of carrying out a noble task," said Haryadi.

Haryadi is optimistic that by implementing AKHLAK as a core value and at the same time as a corporate culture, Brantas Abipraya will continue to grow, be healthy, and grow sustainably. This is in line with what Sugeng said, namely, by implementing AKHLAK, Brantas Abipraya will be able to have great people to fill future talents in Abipraya.
