Cooperate with the Ministry of PUPR, Abipraya Held Certification Test Phase II

Jakarta, August 21, 2017 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) together with the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) held certification of skilled workers and technical guidance of second stage construction expertise for its workers. The opening of the event which was held at Pintu VII Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, Monday (21/8), was done by Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono.

"We need to accelerate the certification of construction workers, because the ongoing infrastructure development implemented by the Government can not wait anymore, must be supported by reliable and competent human resources", said Basuki.

Conducted simultaneously in three locations, other than in Gelora Bung Karno, this opening was also held at the Rusunawa Sentraland Project, Cengkareng owned by Abipraya and the Project of Public Works Department of Water Resources of DKI Jakarta Province with video conference.

Found in Gelora Bung Karno, Nurtjahja, Senior Manager of Human Capital Abipraya, said this activity is a proof of Abipraya's concern for its project workers through the Community Development Program by improving the education of its Insan with the target of 1,000 workers certification. Abipraya previously certified 133 people in the first phase of this program in East Java (2/8).

"This is one of Abipraya's efforts to create a professional and competent Insan Abipraya, we are committed to fully support the acceleration of this Certification program by certifying 436 workers spread in the project area of ​​Jakarta and surrounding areas," Nurtjahja added.

Conducted on the job training on strategic projects both within the internal and external environment of the PUPR Ministry, and carried out for 3 (three) days (21-23 August 2017). The implementation of this event is in cooperation with the Directorate General of Construction Construction of the Ministry of PUPR through Construction Services Area III III Jakarta, National Construction Services Development Agency (LPJK), LPJK DKI Jakarta, LPJK Banten Province, and LPJK West Java Province.

Optimistic to reach 1,000 certified project workers by the end of 2017, after Jakarta, West Java and Banten, Abipraya will certify its Insan located in Central Java, Jogjakarta, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Bali, NTT, NTB, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua.
