Celebrating the Anniversary, Insan Abipraya Holds Concurrent Social Action in All Projects

Commemorating its 39th anniversary, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) held a social gathering and action on Wednesday (12/11) morning at its headquarters in Cawang, East Jakarta and almost all projects spread throughout Indonesia. Abipraya Individuals conduct environmental clean-up and other social activities around the office and project.

Simultaneously, social action was also carried out by members of the Brantas Abipraya Women's Association by visiting the Cipinang Cempedak District office to distribute tree seedlings and provide assistance in the form of 50 trash bins.

"In addition to tree seedlings, 1,000 reuseable bags, and trash bins, we also distributed 100 packages of nine-basic necessities for Workers in Handling Public Facilities and Infrastructure (PPSU) in Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village," said Brantas Corporate Secretary Abipraya Miftakhul Anas.

In addition to Jakarta, Abipraya Individuals who are working on projects in a number of regions in Indonesia also echoed this year's anniversary with the theme "Building by Sharing with Others" with a variety of social activities.

In the Tapin Dam Project, the event which was attended by the Senior Project Manager of the PLTM Operations Division 2 of Brantas Abipraya Bowo Wijanarko was also filled with giving compensation to the orphanage children.

Through this simple yet solemn event, all those present participated in praying for the success of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero).

A lively birthday was also celebrated at the development project of the International Islamic University of Indonesia (UIII) in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java. The Abipraya Individuals interpreted the increase in age this time by distributing compensation for orphans.

Not wanting to be left behind, Insan Abipraya, who is currently working on the Karawang Street - Cikampek - Pamanukan Road, is also carrying out social action by distributing material assistance for the construction of Musala Al-Ikhlas.

Slightly different, at the Semantok Dam project in Nganjuk Regency, East Java, Brantas Abipraya held a blood donor activity. Like the previous year, the event that was initiated with the Nganjuk PMI received attention from members of the Rejoso Sector Police who also donated blood.

As a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), the presence of Brantas Abipraya is felt to the end of the archipelago. Insan Abipraya is in charge of the construction of the dock, apron, and container yard restructuring projects in the Port of Jayapura, Papua, also holding social actions in the form of beach clean-up.

"As in South Kalimantan, the Tapin Dam Project that we (Abipraya) is currently working on also holds a social service and social service event," Anas said.
