Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of BUMN, Brantas Abipraya Holds a Healthy Walk in Palangkaraya
13 March 2023Jakarta, 13 March 2023 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in infrastructure, together with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., held a healthy walk in Palangkaraya City (12/3). The healthy walk entitled “Together with SOEs towards Healthy Indonesia”, the activity which was attended by hundreds of residents in Palangkaraya and its surroundings was held in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary (HUT) of the Ministry of SOEs this year.
"Holding this activity is a form of concern and proof that SOEs are always in the midst of society. We thank KAI and BNI very much for their nice collaboration, so that this BUMN Health Walk activity can be carried out smoothly," said Sugeng Rochadi, Main Director of Brantas Abipraya.
As additional information, SOE Minister Erick Thohir determined that this activity would be carried out in 234 districts/cities in Indonesia. This activity will continue to be carried out every week until the peak of the anniversary of the Ministry of BUMN in April 2023.
Sugeng also said that through this activity the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir requested that BUMN work together with the Regional Government to nourish residents throughout Indonesia. He also conveyed that healthy walking is one of the activities that can maintain and improve health, as well as body freshness. The healthy walk participants in Palangkaraya, followed by adults to children wearing white t-shirts with the words AKHLAK, the healthy walk begins with joint healthy exercise.
"This is a very good momentum in increasing the synergy that has so far been well-established between SOEs, Regional Governments and the community. Not only in Palangkaraya, the plan is for Brantas Abipraya and two other BUMNs to also hold a similar event in Makassar next week. Hopefully SOEs can continue to fully contribute and always provide the best for the people of Indonesia," concluded Sugeng.
