Brantas Abipraya Wins Muri Record, Quickly Complete Thousands of Huntaps in Lumajang
20 October 2022Jakarta, 20 October 2022 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) takes part in the construction of an earthquake-resistant Simple Healthy Instant House (RISHA) for victims of the Mount Semeru eruption in Lumajang Regency, East Java. A total of 1,110 permanent housing units for the victims of the Semeru eruption were completed quickly, this achievement also received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) for the Construction of the Most Simple Healthy Instant House Earthquake Resistant House System in One Overlay (32 hectares - 1,110 units).
"This record achievement is certainly proof of the achievement of one of the superior performances of the Abipraya Personnel, completing the construction of housing for victims of the eruption. What's special is that this residence was built using RISHA panels to be earthquake resistant," said Sugeng Rochadi, President Director of Brantas Abipraya.
Sugeng added, this huntap has qualified standards with a building area of 6x6 meters. He also explained that the dwelling which was built with type 36 was built on a land area of 10x14 meters for each Head of Family (KK). Not only that, RISHA by Brantas Abipraya has also been equipped with facilities in the form of a bathroom, bedroom and multi-purpose room for the living room and family room.
As additional information, in addition to building permanent housing, Brantas Abipraya as an emergency response action for the Mount Semeru eruption, this construction BUMN has also previously completed the cleaning of the Bts National Road section. Malang Regency - Bts. Lumajang Regency, construction of a suspension bridge for pedestrians, handling of alternative roads for the Pasirian-Tempusari section, reconstruction of the National Road Link 062, and clearing of the location of the temporary shelter and Huntap with a total area of 80 hectares.
Since the beginning of the disaster, Brantas Abipraya has provided emergency response assistance in the form of heavy equipment to facilitate the evacuation of victims, including eight excavators, one loader, five dump trucks, three bulldozers and two ambulances that were at the scene.
All heavy equipment and ambulances, said Anas, were immediately sent to the location of the Brantas Abipraya projects which were not far from the disaster site, namely the Semantok Dam project in Nganjuk, East Java, the Jragung Dam project in Demak, Central Java, and the Bener Dam in Purworejo. , Central Java, and the Lot 8 Jarit - Puger Southern Cross Line project in Lumajang Regency.
Brantas Abipraya also sent assistance in the form of logistics, basic necessities consisting of cooking oil, rice, instant noodles, sugar, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, baby diapers, sanitary napkins, masks, mineral water, folding mattresses, toiletries and medicines.
