Brantas Abipraya Wins Award at BCOMSS 2023

Jakarta, March 10, 2023 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in infrastructure has made another achievement by bagging an award at the BUMN Corporate Communications and Sustainability Summit (BCOMSS) 2023 event. Held at Tennis Indoor Senayan -Jakarta, Brantas Abipraya won Best Stakeholder Relation Management Honorable Communication Category BCOMSS 2023 from the Ministry of BUMN. The award was immediately given by Erick Thohir, Minister of BUMN to Sugeng Rochadi, Main Director of Brantas Abipraya.

"We thank the Ministry of SOEs for the appreciation and award given to Brantas Abipraya. Winning the award will further motivate us Abipraya people to be able to continue to give our best and have a broad positive impact on the surrounding community," said Sugeng Rochadi, Director Main Brantas Abipraya.

Sugeng added, through this event Brantas Abipraya will continue to be motivated to always perform positively, especially to be able to fight the challenges of the digitalization era before our eyes in the management of Communication and Sustainable Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL). BCOMSS this time is entering its 3rd year being held by the Ministry of SOEs which involves external judges who are experts in their fields so that the assessment is independent and credible.

As additional information, 493 participants from various categories from 60 BUMN corporations participated in the competition to compete for 24 nominations, namely in the field of Communication and in the field of sustainability each of 12 categories.

The categories in the field of Corporate Communications include Social Media Campaign, Media Relations Management, Internal Communications Implementation, Best Social Media Ranger (SMR) Individuals and Companies, Best Exposure of the Year, Best Public Information Disclosure (KIP), Stakeholder Relations Management, Corporate Secretary of the Year, Corporate Communications of the Year and Favorite Corporate Communication of the Year, and Best Content Creator.

Meanwhile in the Sustainability Program sector, several categories include SME Development, Community Involvement and Development (CID) in the Education sector, CID in the Health sector, CID in the Environment sector, Creating Shared Values, TJSL of the Year, BUMN Local Heroes, Best Millennials TJSL, Best BUMN TJSL, BUMN Disaster Task Force, BUMN Rumah Facilitator of the Year, and BUMN Rumah of the Year.

On the same occasion, Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir asked all BUMN to have qualified media infrastructure to support their role in public communication of BUMN news. Through online and offline media, BUMN companies can become a link to the public to inform news and performance from BUMN, so that this can build trust and a positive image in society.

"As a development agent, Brantas Abipraya will continue to improve its positive performance and continue to fully contribute to building the country through the construction works that we are doing, especially through TJSL activities to improve education, the economy and national health, supported by the spread of positive news," concluded Sugeng .
