Brantas Abipraya's Subsidiary Socialized SMAP, Fights Corruption

Jakarta, July 1st, 2021 – PT Brantas Energi which is a subsidiary of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) held the SMAP socialization, named the Anti-Bribery Management System in the form of a focus group discussion (FGD), with the title "Corruption Prevention and Anti-Gratification Management System". Held virtually, the FGD which was attended by the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of Brantas Abipraya and Brantas Energi, invited Feri Wibisono, Deputy Attorney General for Civil and State Administration of the Republic of Indonesia (JAMDATUN RI) as a resource person, as well as members of Abipraya, Brantas Energi and Brantas Energi partners.


"This step is one of our ways to increase the knowledge and understanding of insan Brantas Energi regarding the ISO 37001:2016 Certification on Anti-Bribery Management Systems in SOEs," said Bambang E. Marsono, President Director of Brantas Abipraya.


In his speech, Bambang also added that this was done with the aim that Brantas Energi, its business partners, and business partners understand what an anti-bribery management system is so that they are expected to have awareness and commitment to upholding the values ​​of honesty in carrying out their activities.


Feri Wibisono in his presentation said that as a basic principle, State-Owned Enterprises in working on their business activities are carried out in good faith and full of responsibility, must apply the principles of good corporate governance and the principle of prudence, and are based on the provisions and regulations. laws and regulations, as well as the company's articles of association.


"It is time for Brantas Energi and its business to move towards a well-managed company or good corporate governance so that it could be more recognized as a company that provides electricity through investment in the construction of environmentally friendly power plants that are healthier, and increase the trust in the community," concluded Bambang.
