Brantas Abipraya Holds Healthy Walks for SOE Anniversary Simultaneously in Bantaeng and Makassar

Jakarta, 20 March 2023 - PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) again held a Health Walk in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). After holding it in Palangkaraya on March 12 2023, collaborating with other BUMNs, Brantas Abipraya held health walks simultaneously in Bantaeng and Makassar, South Sulawesi (19/3).

"We see very high public enthusiasm in these two cities. This activity is a form of concern and proof that SOEs are always in the midst of society. We thank our colleagues from other SOEs for their collaboration and cooperation, so that this event can run smoothly," said Sugeng Rochadi, Main Director of Brantas Abipraya.

Sugeng added, on this occasion Brantas Abipraya together with Pelindo IV and Wijaya Karya held a Healthy Walk at Seruni Beach Field, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi. In addition, it was attended by thousands of people, dozens of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) also participated. He also thanked the Regent of Bantaeng, DR. Ilham Adzikin and his staff who have participated and been involved in this healthy walk.

As for the Healthy Walk for the 25th BUMN Anniversary in Makassar, take the start and finish point route at the Phinisi Point Mall parking lot. Collaborating with Pelindo IV and Askrindo, not only having a healthy walk and introducing BUMN-assisted MSMEs, this event also flooded door prizes for the community.

As additional information, SOE Minister Erick Thohir determined that this activity would be carried out in 234 districts/cities in Indonesia. This activity will continue to be carried out every week until the peak of the anniversary of the Ministry of BUMN in April 2023.
Sugeng also said that through this activity the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir requested that BUMN work together with the Regional Government to nourish residents throughout Indonesia. He also conveyed that healthy walking is one of the activities that can maintain and improve health, as well as body freshness. The healthy walk participants in Palangkaraya, Bantaeng and Makassar were joined from adults to children wearing white shirts bearing the words AKHLAK. The healthy walk began with joint healthy exercise.
“Hopefully this activity can inspire and educate the public. I hope that through this event held by Brantas Abipraya and other SOEs, we can transmit the spirit of building activities that strengthen synergy, and can bring SOEs closer to the community," concluded Sugeng.
