Brantas Abipraya Contributes to Building TSTH2 in North Sumatra

Herbal and Horticultural Technology (TSTH2) Pollung, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra. The construction of the TSTH2 officially began with a groundbreaking ceremony (23/12), marked by the laying of the first stone and the signing of the inscription by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut B. Pandjaitan; Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo; Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; Deputy Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Jhon Wempi Wetipo; The Governor of North Sumatra, Edy Rahmayadi, and Widyo Praseno, Director of Operations 2 Brantas Abipraya.

"As a contractor, Brantas Abipraya will build several infrastructures, because TSTH2 is a research and innovation center for herbal and horticultural development which will later produce superior local seeds in North Sumatra," said Miftakhul Anas as Corporate Secretary of Brantas Abipraya.

Anas also added that several developments were carried out including the Agricultural Research Building, the construction of the Herbal-1 Research Building, the construction of the employee mess, the Research Utility Building, the construction of three Screen Houses, the construction of a Smart Green House, the Agricultural Control House, the Guard Post, the construction of an Electric Substation. , two Substation units and regional infrastructure development. The construction of TSTH2 is a testament to Brantas Abipraya's commitment to continue to contribute to Indonesia, which is currently supporting the establishment of an international standard research and innovation center for medicinal plants and horticulture. Officially starting work today, the project, which was built on an area of ​​approximately 30 ha, is targeted for completion in 2023.

Known as the most reliable construction BUMN in dam construction, through the construction of TSTH2, Brantas Abipraya also wants to show its excellence in building infrastructure. Currently, in addition to TSTH2, this 41-year-old construction BUMN is also finalizing the Borobudur National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) and Labuan Bajo KSPN which are predicted to produce a world-class waterfront city in East Nusa Tenggara, as well as the Urban Planning of Kupang. These three are national strategic projects (PSN) of President Joko Widodo's government.

 

Not only that, in supporting the Government in handling the COVID-19 disaster, Brantas Abipraya also works in optimizing several COVID-19 handling facilities in Indonesia which are spread across several regional points, namely at the Wisma Atlet Hospital in Jakarta, dr. H. Abdoel Moeloek, Bandar Lampung, rehabilitation of the Wisma Werdhapura area in Denpasar, Wisma Bima in Badung Regency as a COVID-19 Emergency Isolation Room, and optimizing the isolation facilities of several hospitals in Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, namely, Ainun Habibie Hospital, Aloei Saboe Hospital and Mess Haji Gorontalo. Not only that, coupled with the post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction work in Mamuju and Majene, West Sulawesi and contributing to the acceleration of the rehabilitation of Kupang City, NTT after Tropical Cyclone Seroja has also brought Brantas Abipraya an award from PUPR for Brantas Abipraya's active role in implementation of post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction tasks as well as the handling of COVID-19 in 2021.
