Brantas Abipraya Confirms Archipelago TMII Project Complete on Time05 August 2022
Jakarta, August 5, 2022 - The implementation of the G20 is getting closer, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) ensures that the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) revitalization project carried out by the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) can be completed on time. This BUMN which is engaged in the construction sector is trusted in the construction of the Island Landscape area in Lake Archipelago and the revitalization of the four lakes in TMII.
"We are optimistic that we will complete the work on time as targeted by the Minister of PUPR. The projected renovation of TMII will be completed this August. Of course, it is complete by prioritizing Occupational Health and Safety (K3) and its superior quality, "said Miftakhul Anas as Corporate Secretary of Brantas Abipraya.
Anas added, in this revitalization work, Brantas Abipraya has also improved drainage facilities in several lakes and for Lake Archipelago, besides focusing on drainage, this BUMN Karya also provides contours to the shape of the Indonesian archipelago, and adds lights to enhance its appearance at night. In addition to revitalizing the miniature archipelago with a miniature landscape of the islands in Indonesia, a construction company known as a champion of water infrastructure, especially dams, was also given the mandate to carry out revitalization work.
A total of four lakes that Abipraya revitalized are Archipelago Lake, Fresh Water Lake and Tourism Village, and Keprajuritan Lake. Brantas Abipraya's active role in the success of the G20 did not end there, the article was that this BUMN Karya also carried out work on the West Java Plaza, Caping Gunung Landscape, Pier Plaza, Boulevard and Plaza located at Sasana Krida. As additional information, President Joko Widodo has specifically assigned the revitalization of TMII through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 116 of 2021 concerning the acceleration of infrastructure development implementation to support the organization of international events in Bali, DKI Jakarta, NTB, and NTT.
One of the points in the Presidential Regulation is that President Jokowi has assigned the PUPR Ministry to carry out a number of infrastructure developments ahead of the Indonesian Presidency in the G20 Presidency. The revitalization of TMII is one of the special assignments given to the Ministry of PUPR and some of the work was entrusted to Brantas Abipraya. TMII is one of the legendary Indonesian tourism icons. A tourist attraction full of Indonesian arts and culture, this recreational park has an area of 150 hectares and is located in East Jakarta. Built in 1972 and inaugurated on April 20, 1975, TMII presents all kinds of culture from all tribes and cultures in Indonesia, so that its existence makes it a place and means of unifying the nation.
