Abipraya Provides Assistance to Orphans on Pari Island27 November 2019
As a series of social services in commemoration of the 39th anniversary, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) handed over aid to the people of Pulau Pari, Thousand Islands, North Jakarta. The activity that took place on Saturday (11/23) and Sunday (11/24) was also accompanied by the launch of the Abipraya Sport Fishing Club.
The assistance was handed over directly by PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) Secretariat & PR Manager Rudi Pudianto to a number of orphans on Pari Island.
Through his written statement, Rudi Pudianto conveyed, the assistance provided was in the form of school bags, reading books, sports equipment, and the provision of food packages for orphans in Pulau Pari School, as well as sharing go green bags to the surrounding community as a substitute for plastic bags.
"As a series of social services in commemoration of Abipraya's 39th Anniversary, this activity is also a form of universal sharing with others through CSR / PKBL programs related to the school construction project on Pari Island which is being done by Abipraya," he continued.
He hopes, as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) present for the country, Abipraya can help government programs in realizing superior human resources through the assistance of school facilities.
"Through this activity, Abipraya wants to positively compare social activities and become a blessing for Abipraya's growth and development," said Rudi Pudianto.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Abipraya Sport Fishing Club Community Sutrisno, SE. said, Abipraya Sport Fishing Club was formed as a positive community to accommodate Abipraya's people in channeling his hobby, namely fishing mania.
Sutrisno said, the launch of the Abipraya Sport Fishing Club was in synergy with the School Building Construction Project on Pari Island which was worked on by the Brantas Abipraya Operations Division 1. For this reason, this construction SOE also held a social service by providing assistance in the form of reading books and sports equipment to schools around the project.
Also attending the activity was Operations Manager of Operations Division 1 of PT Brantas Abipraya Faizal Addin, Project manager of the Pari Eko Sukma School Project, and members of the Abipraya Sport Fishing community.
