Abipraya Builds Modern Market for Depok

Depok, 27 April 2017 - As one of the state-owned enterprises engaged in the construction industry, PT Brantas Abipraya's stretch is increasingly visible especially in the construction of public facilities for the community. This is seen with the opening of Cisalak Market, Depok by Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris in conjunction with the 18th anniversary of Depok City today.

"This is a proof of SOE's commitment to the State, together with Depok City Government we build a modern market with various facilities in it," said Dwi Kridayani as Production Senior Manager of PT Brantas Abipraya.

Dwi added, This market consists of four floors including the basement with 1300 stalls and kiosks. Basement is destined for wet trade such as chicken, meat and fish. First floor for groceries and daily necessities. Second and third floor for gold trading, clothes, bags, shoes, accessories and other clothing needs. As for the 4th floor intended for food and beverage traders with the concept of foodcourt.

Carrying the concept of modern, different from other markets, Abipraya add cheerful visitors to this market by building sports facilities that can be used for badminton, futsal and volley in some parts of the building. Not only the sports facilities, the comfort of worship was assured by the mosque in the Market and clinics for health facilities.

Adding convenience to the traders and buyers, besides equipped with stairs This market also has elevator facilities and adequate parking access. Mohammad Idris said even though the modern concept, this building is intended for traditional sellers who previously was there.
